Nearly every week, a new article appears purporting to show the Gulf Stream is about to collapse, with serious consequences for climate in Scandinavia. Is this correct? And what is the North Atlantic Warming Hole? These questions and more will be addressed.

Joe LaCasce has been a Professor of Oceanography in the Department of Geosciences since 2007 and currently the Head of Department. He studies large scale ocean dynamics, using theory, observations and models.
